Check in
As a Family Home our arrival times are to best suit our young families commitments and to accommodate as many guests as possible who wish to maximise their touring day or guests who need to finish their working day and travel to our home.
• Check-in time – 6pm to 9pm with earliest arrival from 5pm- Latest arrival at 9pm
• Guests must provide valid credit card details which must be in the same name as the guest that booked the room/ registered guests - ID may be required on check-in to validate and confirm the reservation. Failure to comply with the above Credit card and ID policy may result in a room not being made available.
• For Later check in times, this must be by prior arrangement no later than 3pm on day of arrival and is subject to availability for a fee of €25.00 per hour.
• Early Morning arrivals between 8am -11am can be accommodated by booking the previous night stay to guarantee room availibity.
• For Groups greater than 3 people checking-in on arrival, we ask that one representative per family/group of rooms checks in the group at our reception desk - while your extended group/ family is asked to take a seat by the open fire.
• Housekeeping is completed daily between 10.30-11.30am for guests staying multiple nights.
• Our Home is strictly registered guests only
Check Out
• Latest check out time is 11am
• Early morning check-outs before 8am are self-check outs'- simply visit our Reception desk and leave the key on the desk.
• Your bill is paid in full on arrival and an email copy of your receipt is forwarded to the email provided on arrival.
Cancellation Policy
• For individual reservation cancellations must be received in writing/email 48 hours (12 midday) prior to arrival. In case of cancellations less than 48 hours prior to arrival, or a No Show - a charge of one night’s accommodation will be incurred.
• For full details of cancellation policies and deposit requirements, please check at time of booking. (Please note terms and conditions may vary for large group bookings or bookings through third party booking engines - as per there policy).
• In the event that a last minute cancellation is received, we will do our upmost to resell the room(s) and if the room(s) resell- a refund will be made for the value of the room rate resold - minus any commissions payable to another third party website etc. Credit Cards & Deposits.
• Please note that reservations through third party portals can only be changed and/or cancelled through these portals as per there terms and not through reception.
Smoking / Damages Policy
• The Old Bank operates a strict 100% NO smoking policy throughout. Smoking in a bedroom will result in a minimun €100 refresh fine. Any damages/excessive cleaning will incur additional charges.
Payment
• All Guests staying at The Old Bank are asked to make reservations through our website www.theoldbank.ie where the best rates and availability can be found as credit card details are not taken unsecurely by phone or email.
• All reservations must be secured with credit card details. We reserve the right to pre authorise credit cards. Invalid or rejected cards will deem your reservation cancelled, after all attempts to make contact are unanswered.

We offer Room Only rates and Breakfast rates - to allow guests choose what best suits their itineraries and budgets.
• Breakfast is served between 8.00am and 10am (Last service at 9.30am) each morning.
• Room only rates do not include Breakfast - Breakfast can be ordered on arrival for €17.00 per person.
• Breakfast times must be confirmed by 9pm on the previous evening stay
• Breakfast is only available to residents.
• No Night ware or bare feet in the breakfast/public areas
Dining
• In Bruff -Clancy’s Bar & Restaurant takes lasts orders at 7.30* pm & 6pm on a Sunday. The Chinese restaurant serves take-away till 11 pm each night. There are 2 Chippers on Main St. and 3km from our home Reardons Bar and Restaurant serve nightly till 8.30*pm.
Family Rooms
• Due to the historical features of our home, our home is not suitable for young children under 12.
• A family room consists of a double & single bed. Children over 12 years of age are considered adults.
• Interlinking rooms are available on request- Please contact reception to check availability prior to arrival.
Travel to our Home
• The Old Bank is located south east of Limerick City in a village called Bruff approximately 26 km from Limerick city, Travelling time between the city and the B&B is approximately 20-30 minutes by car on the R512 Road and By Bus on the 329
• Shannon Airport is approximately 40-60 minutes from the Old Bank. Charleville (Co. Cork) is 18 minutes from the Old Bank

• Free on street parking and also secure private parking is available in our family courtyard at the rear of the building - subject to availibity , Our family courtyard closes each night at 10pm till 8am.
