Lough Gur Rambling House

The Lough Gur Ramblers host a traditional rambling house session at 8.30pm on the first Thursday night of each month all year round in the Honey Fitz Theater. Samhain, when the worlds of the living and the dead begin to mingle and flood the old streets of Limerick with ghoulish spectacles of myth and magic such as Spirits of tthe Forest, Absentee Landlords, Limerick's own Bishop's Lady, all marauding once again. The parade will conclude with a performance at the Potato Market. Gathering at King John's Castle from 7pm Parade will begin at 7.30pm   Knockainey St John Church Events - Jon Kenny "Words, Lies & Songs". I In his show Words, Lies, and Songs, Jon weaves together hilarious stories, heartfelt truths, and soulful music, playing his banjo and guitar with his trademark charm. Remembering the Peter Robinson Settlers of the Ballyhoura Region - 200th Anniversary   SAVE THE DATE: 15th - 21st September 2025 Join us in 2025 as we remember the settler families of Ballyhoura Country who set sail from Cobh in 1825 to Ontario- establishing a new life in what we know today as Peterborough in Canada.   Step back in time and experience the newly commissioned “1825: The Robinson Experiment” with Callback Theatre, premiering for this week long event.   Connect with the homes of the settlers through Meet and Greets in the settler communities homeland across the Ballyhoura area of North Cork and Limerick. Explore, touch and taste the communities of origin through heritage walks, talks and tours Listen to traditional Irish Music, Storytelling and dance.   A magical remembrance concert and hybrid one day conference in Saint George's Arts and Heritage Centre in Mitchelstown.
