Check out the Maigue River Trust website www.maigueriverstrust.ie which has details of fun events taking place at Croom Town Park 11.30 -4pm.
These are free fun experiences for all the family, from dry fly casting to checking out the science of the river. These events, hosted by Maigue Rivers Trust, will take place at Croom Town Park. Saturday night, there will be music in Storan’ Bar 10 pm with “different Sounds”.
Sunday
Solo competitions are at Colaiste Chiarain at 10 am, and group and Ceili Band competitions at 11 am. There is one more competition area, the Tin Whistle Band competition, 3.30 pm will take place at the Patio in Croom Town Park *This is a free event.
Croom Town Park is the backdrop for two further events: a Craft Market, 12 -3 pm, and Music on the Maigue, a free event from 1-4 pm on the Patio at Croom Town Park.

The Highlight of the entertainment for the Fleadh will be the Fleadh Cheoil Concert at St Mary's Church, 8 pm.
Tickets are available online at Eventbrite or from Croom Civic Centre or Plunkett’s Pharmacy. Musicians include Derek Hickey, Liam Flanagan, Ryan O’Donnell, and Tracy O’Donnell Sunday Night “William and Michelle” at Storan’s 10 pm, and across the street at Daffy’,s there will be a Trad Session.
